Jessica Chastain is an American theater, film and television actress. She is best known for her roles in the films Zero Dark Thirty, The Help, The Debt, Take Shelter, Coriolanus, The Tree of Life, and Lawless. She was born in March 24, 1977 (age 35) in Sacramento, California.
Chastain received Best Supporting Actress nominations for the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, BAFTA, and the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award. She won a Golden Globe and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film Zero Dark Thirty (2012).

Jessica, who was in the cover of Marie Claire mag, admitted being “very shy” when it comes to men, she also told the magazine that she liked to be wooed. She declared in the February issue of InStyle UK that she would not like to date actors:
“I have dated an actor before, at Juilliard, but since then, I’ve only been on a couple of dates with one and I was so freaked out someone was going to take a picture of us, because they were famous.”
Chastain, who has costarred with some of Hollywood’s hottest, including Brad Pitt, Mike Vogel, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, added that another part of the reason why she just can’t date within the industry is that she wants to leave work at work.
Despite of her declarations, tabloids suggest that the redheaded beauty might be in a romance with costar Edgar Ramirez. The two, who are both single, became close during the film Zero Dark Thirty. Chastain and Ramírez posed with their arms around one another at the Los Angeles premiere of the Columbia Pictures release. But another source told us the pair, who share the same representation, are “just good friends.”
Jessica Chastain is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world. She claims that she was never considered attractive when she was younger, but hopes that her new found sex symbol status makes her first boyfriend from her younger years jealous. Chastain told GQ magazine:
“When someone tells me I’m a sex symbol I’m like, ‘What?’ But I’ll take what I can get. That’ll teach all those boys back in junior high (school). In fact, I hope my very first boyfriend, the guy I dated for one month and who broke up with me at the Valentine’s Day dance – I hope that boy reads this.”
