British actor Hugh Grant has become a father for the second time, his girlfriend Tinglan Hong gave birth to a baby boy, they also have a little girl Tabitha born two years ago.
52-year-old Hugh Grant dated actress Elizabeth Hurley for thirteen years, he then dated Jemima Khan for three and after their split there have been a series of women linked to Hugh but none of the alleged relationships was ever confirmed.
33-year-old Tinglan Hong from China once an actress and part time model met Hugh in 2010, they were seen together several times early in 2011.
Media grew interested in Tinglan when she was seen with a suspicious bump in her stomach she was no longer dating Grant by that time, as the time when on her appearances in the streets of Merton, south London became less frequent and also with loose clothes. Tinglan then moved to Hugh’s town of Fulham, south-west London, it was rumored he was the one who asked her to move and paid for her house.
But you can’t hide a baby for long and Hugh was ecstatic to announced the birth of her daughter Tabitha born on September 26th at the Portland Hospital in London, the new mommy who was registered in the hospital under the name of Sophie Hong had her sweet baby girl via c-section.
“I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl. He and the mother had a fleeting affair and while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive. He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms. He’s going to be a great dad! He’s beaming about his daughter. He’s not with the mum anymore but he’s absolutely thrilled.”
On April 2012, Grant was a guest at the Ellen Degeneres Show where he talked a bit about Tabitha and commented that her Chinese name is Xiao Xi, meaning “happy surprise”.
As you can imagine her life was under the watchful eye of the many paparazzi from Splash News that basically camped outside her house and followed her everywhere, making her life miserable, when a paparazzi in her 30’s driving a black Audi caused her to crash she didn’t hesitate to take this to court.
“Mr Justice Tugendhat has issued an order accepting the “permanent undertakings” from celebrity news agency Splash News “not to doorstep, pursue or harass Tinglan Hong or her child with paparazzi photography or place either of them under surveillance or approach within 100 metres of their home”
