Reddit’s co-funder Aaron Swartz took his own life at his home in Crown Heights, he is survived by his father, siblings and beloved mother Susan Swartz who said she had no idea Aaron was in so much pain. Mr. Swartz the creator of RSS 1.0. web.py and DemandProgress was 26.
Aaron H. Swartz was born on November 8th, 1986 in Chicago, Illinois to a computer tech father 62-year-old Robert and Susan Harns Swartz.

Aaron was suffering from chronic depression, he as found hanged at his apartment in New York. The news about his passing was confirmed by his uncle Michael Wolf to Tech.mit.edu.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. Aaron has been depressed about his case/upcoming trial, but we had no idea what he was going through was this painful.
Aaron was a terrific young man. He contributed a lot to the world in his short life and I regret the loss of all the things he had yet to accomplish. As you can imagine, we all miss him dearly. The grief is unfathomable.
