Jane Levy from the ABC sitcom ¨Suburgatory¨is apparently on her way to being a free woman! The 23 year old who plays wisecracking teen Tessa Altman on T.V was actually a Ms. Freitas in real life! But now we’ve learned she is back in the market!
The beautiful red headed young actress Levy, is also well-known for her starring role in the remake of “Evil Dead,” which just hit theaters in April 2013. She first turned heads with a five-episode arc on Showtime’s “Shameless.”
If you didn’t know she was married don’t feel bad because we didn’t either! The couple allegedly moved in together in 2010 and got hitched in March 3, 2011 and separated on October 31, 2011! So doing the math their union only lasted seven months. Other couples could really use a tip or two from them on how to keep tings private!
There’s very little public indication that Levy and Freitas were even a couple and she formally filed for divorce until a few weeks ago, actress reportedly filed for divorce from her actor husband on April 16. Court documents show irreconcilable differences were cited.
What could have gone wrong? Any guesses?? Too bad we have no dirt on him but Levy also stated that she doesn’t want to pay spousal support. Was she getting more money than him? Too young? Is she too pretty for him? Maybe there is a new love around? Well a number of things could have happened besides Hollywood doesn’t make the most easiest of relationship that’s for sure.
Suburgatory‘s second season ended in mid-April and is currently awaiting news of a renewal or cancellation, which will be announced at the network’s upfront presentation on May 14th.
