Samantha Horneff is another name left by Ashley Riggitano in her note inside her Louis Vuitton’s bag, per Riggitago’s wisher Samantha wont be invited to her funeral.
Riggitano killed herself on her 22nd birthday. She was taking Adderall and Klonopin. She wrote a suicide note where she stated she was unhappy with a guy. She had issues and tried to kill herself before she finally did.
Adderall is used for dealing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or narcolepsy, whilst Klonopin is used to manage seizures in epilepsy and for the treatment of panic disorder.
Horneff’s friend was a New York fashionista jumped off George Washington Bridge at 4.40pm Wednesday and was in an online fight with five of her friends, one of whom supposedly told the victim to overdose, it was revealed these days.
Her frenemies whom she didn’t want for them to assist at her funeral were: Alison Tinari, Teresa Castaldo, Beth Bassil, Riggitano’s best pal and colleague, Victoria Van Thunen, and Samantha Horneff.
Tinari wrote to Riggitano this:
Go try to kill yourself on Xanax again, you untable loser. Go f*** yourself and never speak to me again.
Riggitano and Van Thunen had their own jewelry business called Missfits. Castaldo and Bassil were the 22-year-old’s previous classmates at Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (LIM), and Horneff was a friend from New Jersey.
Riggitano wrote about the five women in her notes:
To any funeral, these people should not be allowed based upon words and actions.
Riggitano also mentioned three others by first name only, calling them:
Only people I love & always there to tell sorry.
All my other “friends” are in it for gossip.
Victoria Van Thunen wrote on her Facebook:
Those who incessantly blame others as the cause of their issues should perhaps take a step back and reevaluate these situations. The common thread may be that “they” aren’t the problem, but rather that YOU are.
Tinari said:
It’s really horrible what happened. I feel really bad for her family. I never went after her; she went after me.
The only thing I’m ashamed of is what I said about her overdosing on Xanax. I shouldn’t have said that.
Riggitano answered back to suicide remark:
Thats called a threat, and a suicidal threat the police dont take that lightly since the boy in ridgewood killed because of someones words.
Riggitano was talking about the case of Rutgers University freshman Tyler Clementi who killed himself in 2010 by jumping off George Washington Bridge after a roommate recorded his encounter with another man.
Riggitano mentioned there are laws against bullying and Tinari should have ‘checked that out’ previous to making her comments.
The fight started when Riggitano sent her a confusing angry so Tinari would stay away from Drew Heissenbuttel.
The message said:
Since drew cannot take care of the issue at hand, I will. You have been nothing but a bitch to me every time you walked in the door ignoring my existence maybe because you were so concerned with picking up your drugs…
Everyone who has spoken to me when i came into the picture told me all about you and his friends had nothing good to say except you used Drew for his money.
Tinari responded:
If you think I have time for your bulls–t think again. I don’t give two s***s about you. I did not post anything of facebook or instagram for you to see.
I cannot believe you think I give a f***, i have better things to do with my time than to stir the pot with some bitch i dont even know . . . Leave me the f*** alone. I’m not playing these childish games with you. F*** off you pathetic loser.
Horneff, was friend with Riggitano for eight years, and she was shocked to be between the people excluded from her funeral.
Woo, who employed Riggitano as a part-time intern, said everyone in the business was astonished by the news of her suicide.
Woo said:
She always had a smile on her face, she didn’t look depressed.
Riggitano began working for the company on a part-time basis in January, and was only at work about two days a week.
She was supposed to take part on a main deal that the design house was participating in.
Woo added:
I think everybody were really sweet to her.
She didn’t look like she was the kind of person who was bullied at all.
It was a really big shock to us.
Ashley’s company has been raising cash for a young Bergen County boy named Nico who is fighting against cancer.
She wrote on her FB:
