A terrible and sad revelation has come out the lips of Whitney Houston’s older brother Michael Houston, he took full responsibility for turning Whitey into drugs.
Whitney’s eldest brother Michael Houston was the first child John Russell Houston, Jr. and Cissy Houston (real name Emily Drinkard) had, he had a half brother Gary Garland from his mother’s first marriage to Freddie Garland, an d certainly his little sister Whitney born on August 9th, 1969. She died on February 11, 2012 at the age of 48.
According to the autopsy Whitney died from drowning in the bathtub at her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, there were also found traces of cocaine and marijuana, Xanax, Benadryl, and Flexeril, for so long friends and fans blamed her ex-husband Bobby Brown for her addiction, he also maintained his innocence, but no one ever believe him.
He sure must be feeling relief to hear that another man in Whitney’s life has taken full responsibility for turning her into drugs since a very young age, her own brother Michael Houston.
“I feel responsible for [Whitney Houston’s death,] I always have, I should have taken better care of her.”
“We got into drugs, we did that together too and it just got out of hand – it was rough.”
Asked if he enabled Whitney’s earliest experiences with crack cocaine, he said, “Yeah, we did everything together. Once I did that, she followed suit.
“At the time, in the 80s, it was acceptable. In the entertainment industry, it wasn’t a bad word like we have now,” he said. “It just happened … I can’t say exactly when. We were traveling, late 20s, that money, just got caught up … it’s been a battle ever since.
“It’s something I’ll live with for the rest of my life.”
