Talking about America’s most wanted and America’s funniest videos! This is a merge of both! But for these women it was close to a life and death situation!
Nola Morales performed the amazing stunt of crossing a busy highway by foot instead of spending time in jail. The woman is accused of shoplifting.
Nola was willing to risk her own life trying to avoid any responsibility in her shameful actions; and just as if it was a cross country competition she took off running after allegedly stealing from a sporting goods store in Corpus Christi last week. The result? Well she is apparently in better shape than police officers since she managed to get away!
Nola Morales who is 27-years-old must have wanted those goods really bad since it was worth doing something this reckless. Now the woman who lives in Alice, Texas might have escaped for now but today a warrant was issued by police that has her name on it.
After Morales was spotted with the stolen merchandise outside Academy Sports & Outdoors on Wednesday afternoon, a store official first gave chase, but she did not performed a thorough watch since police officers were at the scene for another accident so to her bad luck they also engaged in the chase but Morales outran them all and once she got to the busy South Padre Island Drive she was gone.
She left the bag with the goods behind maybe in an attempt to regret her previous decisions but it was too late to say sorry. The whole incident was recorded by a local T.V station and its opportune video camera; Kiii T.V station say after crossing the highway, Morales actually ran to the Kiii TV station, and then sprinted toward a Denny’s restaurant.
Nola Renee Morales was born in 1986 and has also lived in San Diego, TX. But she is no stranger to life in prison, we also found out that she was previously arrested back in April for possession of drugs, trying to take her children against CPS orders. At the time officers found in her car two bags containing crystal meth and cash but she denied it was hers saying a friend had left it in her car. Police then found she had an active City of Alice warrant. Morales was taken to JWC Jail on a $3,250 bond.
A second woman, Amanda Gonzalez Macias-Chavez was detained by cops had at the scene. She is believed to reside in Alice as well and was also arrested for theft, guess she didn’t run with the same luck huh! Mandie is also believed to be around 26-years-old.
Morales is currently on the run and is wanted for theft and evading arrest.
