Sherman Maxwell is an 18-year-old charged with the murder of another 18-year-old girl in Long Island.
Maxwell Sherman, of Long Beach, New York, was arrested and charged Saturday with second-degree murder for allegedly killing Lauren Daverin who’s naked body was found on a footbridge after she was brutally stabbed and strangled to death.
Miss Daverin was a married lady and she was extremely popular and loved by friends; according to media reports they had friends in common and met briefly before she resulted dead. On Thursday her friends claim she was left at Mill Pond footbridge drinking and smoking and later that night sadly and shockingly she was found lifeless and stripped except for her boots.
Sherman passed by to ask for a cigarette from one of his friends who was also in the bunch hanging out with Lauren. Sherman himself told the media outlets on Friday he was surprised to learn of Daverin’s death, the young man denied the killing at his court appearance on Sunday.
According to his Facebook account, he attended Barrington High School in Barrington, Illinois; his hometown is Rockville Centre, New York and has listed as current city Barrington Illinois.
His mother is Stephanie Hileman, aunts Shantina Hauer and Meslissa Mary Kay and grandmother Diana Eschen. Sherman is currently is unemployed and living with his parents.

He faces up to 25 years if convicted.
