Mark Judge

Mark Judge is the high school classmate of Trump’s high court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

Both Kavanaugh and Mark Judge have been accused of sexually abusing women during their high school days. They both were high-school students at Georgetown Preparatory School, in Bethesda, Maryland.

#1 His father is a former journalist

Mark Gauvreau Judge is the son of late journalist Joseph Judge. His father, a writer and editor worked for over two decades for National Geographic magazine. According to an obituary, his articles included subjects like Alaska, Ireland, Jerusalem, Hong Kong, the Zulu of South Africa and a replay of the first trek across Australia in 1859. His father died of cancer in 1996, aged 68.

#2 Mark has three siblings

Mark’s parents Jospeh Judge and Phyllis Mitchell Judge, also had three other children: sons Joseph and Michael; and daughter, Alyson.

#3 Mark himself is a journalist and writer

Mark followed into the footsteps of his father becoming a journalist. According to an online bio, his work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Weekly Standard and other publications.

Mark Judge is the author of Wasted: Tales of a Genx Drunk, If It Ain’t Got That Swing: The Rebirth of Grown-Up Culture , God and Man at Georgetown Prep: How I Became a Catholic Despite 20 Years of Catholic Schooling.

#5 His grandfather is late MLB star Joe Judge

Joe Judge was a star first baseman for the Old Washington Senators. Mark wrote “Damn Senators: My Grandfather and the Story of Washington’s Only World Series” –in honor of his grandfather.

#6 Mark has a history of substance abuse

In his 1997 book, “Wasted: Tales of a Genx Drunk” –Mark recounts his own struggle against alcoholism, and describes his research into the causes of addiction and the history of treatment and recovery.

#7 He has been described as a close friend of Brett Kavanaugh

A woman accusing Brett Kavanaugh of rape, says he and Mark Judge used to be ‘joined at the hip.’ The two were former classmates and the same woman said ‘There is no question in my mind that Mark Judge has significant information concerning the conduct of Brett Kavanaugh during the 1980s, especially as it relates to his actions towards women.’

#8 He is being accused of sexually abusing women

Julie Swetnick is the third woman to publicly accuse Kavanaugh of gang raping her along with Mark Judge back in the 80’s.

#9 His ex-girlfriend is also speaking out against him.

Elizabeth Rasor identified as Mark’s ex-girlfriend of three years. She spoke to the New Yorker claiming that Judge had “ashamedly” told her of an incident that involved him and other boys “taking turns having sex with a drunk woman.” However, Judge allegedly told Rasor that he regarded the incident as completely consensual.

Like Kavanaugh, Mark Judge denied all the allegations during an interview with the Weekly Standard.
