Talking about odd accidents! During this past weekend a student from Baylor’s University died while doing something most humans find an utterly common activity, is even consider an exercise!
Kevin Signo an 18 year old student from Baylor University in Waco hit his head during get this! a dance rehearsal and later died at a local hospital. Doctors determined the cause of death was a broken neck! Gez! The fatal accident happened during practice as he was rehearsing with the school’s Filipino Student Association.
Kevin was originally from Texas and his hometown was Frisco, this young man was studying pre-biology, can you imagine a whole world shut down for one of those accidents we don’t understand, is just one of those things life doesn’t have an explanation other than it was his time …sadly.
Kevin was set to turn 19 this month and he was described as an excellent friend and a good Christian wow! how niece have you ever heard about an 18 year old being described liked a “good Christian” ..well I haven’t heard of many I can say that much. Is no big surprise to learn after he was rushed to the hospital and taken out of life support because of the swelling in his brain became extreme he would donate his organs, parents Henry and Jackie Signo can not be prouder of their brave son.
This young Filipino will be surely missed for those who knew him, he was also a member of the group Poppers, Lockers and Breakers; and has become an inspiration for the rest..just doing what you love is not something many people can say they do but he was one of those happy one enjoying soccer and dancing and dreaming of becoming a doctor.
All we can say is after knowing about Kevin’s death is that God just needs more like him up in heaven..he died doing what he loved and I can’t think of a better way to go.
