“Heroes” actress Tawny Cypress is being accused of luring her ex-husband to Brooklyn burger joint so he could be attacked and then sent to prison.
Bill Charles, 58-year-old, is claiming the 36-year-old actress instructed their 12-year-old son to set up a meeting at Park Slope self-service restaurant Cheeburger, knowing her boyfriend Tom Dillon would be coming up.
According to Charles’ lawyer, the couple conspired to attempt to murder his client.
Dillon took out a cell phone and hit Bill in the head.
Charles broke his nose and got a bruise. The court case claims that when he arrived…Dillon purportedly attacked Charles with a “hard object” knocking him to the ground and causing a fractured nose and contusion.
The lawyer added:
Tawny Cypress conspired with Mr. Dillon to concoct and fabricate about the incident.
But it was Charles who was charged after the June 6 ruckus.
He supposedly attacked his son. The father “slammed (the boy’s) head and body into a window, threw (him) to the floor” then sat on the boy while pummeling his body, reads the complaint.
Charles shares custody of the kid was charged with five charges, including misdemeanor assault.
He was six days in jail.
His lawyer added:
The relatively minor charges against my client are merely a distraction from the attempted murder committed by Thomas Dillon.
We have the video and the pictures to prove it, which will be shown at trial.
The lawsuit accuses Cypress and Dillon of a veer of offenses, including assault, defamation, kidnapping of a minor child and perjury.
Tawny’s manager said:
This lawsuit is totally without merit; other than that Ms. Cypress has no comment.
It is sad to see how parents misuse their children to be against either mum or dad. The new partner should avoid by all means get involved in situations such as delicate as this incident.
