David Barry Gray is an actor and husband since 2007 of Shanelle Gray (Modern Family actress´s sister: Ariel Winter.) The Barry-Gray couple owns GrayStudiosLA. They have two daughters, Skylar Athena and Parker Eleni.
What a surprise to find out Shanelle married David who’s not only an actor but a heir to the Pepsi fortune. His grandfather was one of the founding members of Pepsi Cola.
David’s grandfather, Philip Rubenstein, owned 23 of the original Pepsi plants and, with the help of Al Steele, took the company nationwide. Rubenstein served as the President of Pepsi Cola in the 1950s and made a big fortune.
David Barry Gray’s Biography
David’s passion has always been acting. He was born in NYC and grew up surrounded by the stages of the city. He graduated from performing arts from NYC’s High school. He was a passionate student and after high school, his prime mentor became Anthony Abeson. He went to H.B. Studios and met there Herbert Bergoff, Carol Rosenfeld, Bill Hickey and Uta Hagen.
He is pretty known in Broadway. He became famous with the production of the Tony Award-winning, Arthur Miller’s “A View From The Bridge”. He played the character of Rodolpho and performed at Lincoln Center,The John Houseman Theater, Playwrite Horizons, etc. He is a company member at South Coast Reperetory theater in Orange County, CAL.
He has appeared in many films working with big names such Oscar’s winner directors, Oliver Stone in “Nixon”, and Anthony Minghella in Mr. Wonderful. He has acted in films like “One Good Cop”, “Mr. Wonderful”, “S.F.W.”, “Mutiny”, “Dead Presidents”, “Lawn Dogs”, “Cops And Robbersons”, “Why Do Fools Fall In Love”, Soldier Boyz”, etc. He has appeared in three network series: Fox’s – “21 Jump Street”, NBC’s – “Dream Street”, and NBC’s – “The Client”. He has been the guest star and had principal roles in movies of the week, and miniseries. Back on 2008, he completed a episode of ABC’s new show, Eli Stone.
He married Shanelle on September 9th, 2007 and is still married to her. His daughters were born on May 2009 and January 2011.
