Let’s meet Dana Evans; although chances are, you know her husband a little better. She has been married to Senior Meteorologist Bill Evans. Dana’s hubby is a five-time Emmy award winner for Outstanding On-Camera Achievement in Weather Broadcasting…have you seen him in action??
Dana Evans was born Dana Lynne Lee on November 02, 1964 to Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Lee of Greenwich, Conn. Her father was the chairman and chief executive of the GTE Corporation, the telecommunications company based in Stamford, Conn
The couple tied the knot on March 6, 1994 during a Congregational ceremony at the St. Regis in New York. She was a 29 year old bride working as an associate in corporate finance in the commercial banking division of Citybank in New York; she graduated from Cornell University and received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
The couple have four lovely children together, daughter Maggie, son William, and twin daughters Julia and Sarah.
Hard to believe a 48-year-old Dana and husband are starring their own divorce drama after 19 years of marriage! Yup! The couple who decided to call it quits on their nearly two decades of marriage have been arrested after a nasty fight that took place last month at their Conn., home.
The couple decided to turn themselves in after warrants were issued for their arrests following their domestic dispute of May 4th. The mother of four reported the incident to the Greenwich police after she sought counseling at a local domestic violence center. Dana Evans’ lawyer Mark Sherman said in a prepared statement:
“Obviously, divorces can get emotional, and we expect Dana to be cleared of these charges in due time. The safety, privacy and welfare of her family continue to be her primary concern,”
Dana surrendered to police Friday more than two weeks after the argument but was also released after promising to appear in court.
Such a shame huh! Both Dana and still husband Bill are being cooperative with the investigation and hope this can be soon put behind.
