“This man is worrying me on the bus” That was what teenager Cristina wrote on twitter a few weeks before the actual attack.
Another young life taken by the hands of a man and all for what??? A pupil at Leasowes High School identified as 16 year old Christina Adkins was stabbed to death! While she was riding the school bus! Nothing seems to be safe now! Get this Christina actually twitted her concerns about this guy looking suspicious and moving seats for several days while riding the bus! Wow she felt something wasn’t right with that guy…could be the same guy that murdered her?? Has that ever happened to you?? Feeling that hunch something really bad is about to happen to you or to someone else?? And most importantly have you done something about it??
I guess as humans we are always a little afraid to speak out loud our mind but when its about your own life or someone else’s it’s worth trying! A real shame Christina did, but it was just her time…sad to see this young lives be shut down is such a horrible way.
Bright and popular Christina was attacked at 7:30am which makes us think, the man behind this horrible crime had it all well planned since he knew it was rush hour maybe he was there week after week just like Christina warned.
The attack took place on the crowded bus and she was knifed to death on what she believed to be just another regular day, another regular ride to school on number 9 bus. Despite the efforts o f the rest of the passengers on the bus of keeping Christina alive until the paramedics arrived she was pronounced death at the tragic scene.
Christina a girl full of life was described by the her teachers as:
“Christina was a bright and popular student much loved by staff and students alike.
“We are deeply saddened to hear this tragic news and our thoughts and hearts go out to her family and everyone who knew her.
“The school is working closely with the police and a team of counselors to provide support to our pupils and staff.”
Her family devastated to say the least are just asking for justice; the suspect? Of course ran from the scene but the police later arranged a manhunt looking for a young black male. As a result a 22 year old who matched the witnesses description was arrested near to a Morrison Supermarket.
We are eager to see what will happen next did this guy had a motive?? What was it?? What’s your guess? In the meanwhile our thoughts are with her family.
