Even though Justin was not there when the fatal accident of the freelance paparazzi, Chris Guerra occurred he still regrets his death.Guerra was struck by a vehicle just seconds after he snapped photos of Justin’s white Ferrari.
Chris Guerra died on Tuesday night after she was hit by a car. This happened after he took some pics of Justin’s car.
LAPD is still investigating this accident and it all points out to have happened after some patrols stopped the white Ferrari from the singer after he received a ticket.
The sport car was parked in a side of Sepulveda Blvd., near Getty Center Dr., and Chris came to take some photos , minutes earlier he called an agency and told them he was after a big story, added that he saw Justin smoking pot inside his car, he hung up after he saw the Ferrari leaving the parking lot of the Four Seasons Hotel, but he was not the one behind the wheel. Chris Guerra had been working on Justin Bieber pictures ever since he moved to Los.A in March from Las Vegas.
Justin Bieber spent the NYE with rapper Lil Twist in Mexico. When he arrived in Beverly Hills, the Ferrari, which was driven by the rapper, got a ticket because he parked in a wrong place.
After finding out that Justin was in town, Chris came to take some pics but couldn’t see him so he just came near the car outside the hotel.
He was covering all the media around Justin for the last months; he waited the whole day to see him. He called the agency he worked for around 5:30 pm.
In his last conversation he said he was eager to wait the Canadian singer outside the hotel where he was booked in. He was a guest at the Four Seasons from Beverly Hills.
He hung up after he spotted the Ferrari.
The police say that Chris came back to the place during the night, he took the pic of the plate and when crossing the street he was run over by a vehicle.
He was taken to Ronald Reagan Medical Center of California University in Los Angeles, he died last night.
The driver of the car that struck the photographer was a grandmother who had her two grandchildren in the car. Police said she was very upset and distraught. She is not facing any charges, because it appears she was following all traffic regulations on the road.
Bieber expressed his condolences and asked for laws more harsh against paparazzi.
“Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders and the photographers themselves.”
The pop star wasn’t inside the car when the car was stopped because of speed limit.
Bieber had a concert in Times Square during NYE. He has a long list of incidents with paparazzi. Rumors say he hit one on May in a parking lot.
