runaway Jury actor Gene Hackman was force to slap a homeless guy across his face, that homeless person identified as Bruce Becker approach Gene and his lovely wife Betsy Arakawa Hackman in a very aggressive way and if that was not enough he called Mrs. Arakawa a c**t.
82-year-old Oscar winning actor Gene Hackman was enjoying lunch with his wife Betsy Arakawa at a restaurant in San Fe, New Mexico when Bruce Becker approached them, got in his face and insulted his wife, so Gene slapped Becker across the face. No charges were filed.
“Our officers got a call from a homeless male who said he’s just been beat up by Gene Hackman, this male got up in his face, assaulted him.”
Mr. Hackman told our officers that this homeless man assaulted him and his wife and called her a foul word,” Dobyns told the New Mexican. “He was afraid that he and his wife were going to be attacked.”
“Mr. Hackman did slap the homeless male across the face,” Dobyns told the TV station. “This homeless male actually assaulted him and his wife, put him in fear for his life and his wife’s life.”
“It looked like Mr. Hackman did this purely out of self-defense to protect himself and his wife,”
51-year-old Betsy Arakawa was born December 1, 1961before moving to Santa Fe, Betsy Hackman lived in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Mrs. Arakawa Hackman met Gene in the early 80’s at a gym where she worked and he was a member. Betsy and Hackman began dating in 1984, they got married in December, 1991. Betsy is a former classical pianist and co-owner of Pandora’s Inc. a home furnishings store in Santa Fe with her friend Barbara Lenihan.
Hackman’s first wife is Faye Maltese [1956- 1982], she is the mother of his son Christopher and daughters Elizabeth and Leslie
