Charlie Sheen is going to be a grandpa! Sheen’s oldest daughter, 28-year-old Cassandra Jade Estevez Huffman is having a baby. The 47-year-old star made the big announcement on “The Late Show with David Letterman” last Monday night, stating:
“My daughter Cassandra. And she’s like married,” the actor laughs. “Me as a grandfather, Dave… I don’t know. It’s like the world’s going to crack in half,’ he joked. But Sheen quickly added: ‘It’s fabulous. It’s just not a title I’m ready to adopt.”
Cassandra Jean Estevez Profit aka Cassandra Sheen and recently Cassandra Jean Huffman is Sheen’s daughter with his high school girlfriend Paula Speert, born when he was 19, the couple was never married. Sheen has four other children: girls Sam and Lola with Denise Richards and twins Bob and Max with Brooke Mueller.
Cassandra was born on December 12, 1984. She tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Casey Huffman on September 25, 2010, during a ceremony at the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, CA. The couple had apparently been dating since they both were in the eight grade. Her proud daddy Charlie walked her down the aisle.
Denise Richards, Sheen’s ex-wife, wrote on Twitter:
“I guess some of you have heard… @charliesheen is going to be a Grampa…yes GRAMPA! his beautiful daughter Cassandra is gonna be a mama..”
In addition to his baby news, Charlie also talked about his drug use and recovery, well, lack of recovery.
“I don’t really believe in that lifestyle anymore,” Charlie explained of his struggle to get clean. “It doesn’t seem fair — you guys don’t want me clean and sober, that’s boring!”
