Media reported today that 58-year-old David Paterson who was the 55th Governor of New york and his wife of nearly 20 years 51-year-old Michelle Paige Paterson had been living separated for a few months, none have file for divorce just yet, but it seems that there are no chances of a reconciliation as Mr. Paterson has been hitting several social events where he has allegedly been giving his digits to quite a few ladies.

Back in 2008 when he took the office admitted he and Michelle had extramarital affairs with several women, a former employee among those, he talked about it at a press conference with his wife Michelle standing by his side, he added that they had their struggles during their marriage but they have been working thru their issues and their marriage was stronger than ever.

So what happened then? according to a source close to them their split has nothing to do with relationship to another person from any of them, adding that they agreed on an amicable separation, they would have been celebrating their 20th anniversary in November. From their relationship they have an 18-year-old son together Alex Paterson, Mr. Paterson has been like a father to Michelle’s 24-year-old daughter Ashley from a previous marriage.

Michelle R. Paige Paterson was born on April 6, 1961 in Fairfield, California. She moved to NY with her mom who worked as manager at Postal Service.

Michelle graduated from Martin Luther King JR in 1979, in 2001 received her degree in Health care management from the Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy and a B.A from Syracuse University in 1983.

Mrs. Paige Paterson worked as a lobbyist at the General Hospital in Manhattan and currently a director at her alma mater the Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy, she is also a domestic violence volunteer counselor at St. Jude’s Hospital.

She has two children, Ashley her eldest from her first marriage and son Alex born on February 1994, from her second marriage to David Paterson, with whom she got married on November 21, 1992., She met him in 1982, they rekindled their relationship ten years later.
