A terrible news was revealed today, NBC 6’s former anchor Joel Connable passed away at the age of 39. He leaves behind his wife of two weeks Angela Shlyakhov.
39-year-old Joel Connable an Emmy Award winner, Associated Press recipient had been dealing with type 1 Diabetes since the age of 13, he carried an insulin pump with him all the time this pump might have malfunctioned on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 when he was found dead at his apartment the cause of dead was an apparent diabetes seizure, it is believed his dog Lola who was with him and was trained at sniffing out blood sugar level might have alerted him.
Mr. Connable had just began his job with KOMO TV in Seattle and just two weeks after getting married to his beautiful girlfriend Angela Shlyakhov who was getting ready to relocate to Searle to be with her husband.

42-year-old Angela Shlyakhov was born on January 24, 1970. Mrs. Shlyakhov a paralegal from Miami Dade College got her B.S in Journalism and English from Florida International University.
In 1995 she became litigation paralegal from Kaufman Miller Dickstein & Grunspan, P.A. then after she left in 2000 she joined Berger Singerman.
