Marina Krim, wife of the General Manager from Digital Media Division at CNBC, Kevin Krim; found this Thursday, her 2 kids, Leo, 2 yrs. old and Lucia (Lulu,) 6 yrs. old, stabbed to death in the bathtub at her home in New York City’s upper west side of Manhattan when she came home with her middle child Nessie. Mr. Krim was advised of the tragedy when he returned from a business trip and headed to the hospital right away. The baby sitter, Yoselyn Ortega, from Dominican Republic who murdered the kids, was also found injured and her state is critical.
Marina Krim’s blog, “Life With the Krim Kids,” described her great life with her lovely family. Her blog has many pics and let people get an insight of their life as a close family. You can see their trips where they all had fun before this tragedy took place. She even posted an article before finding this horrific scene. 50 year-old Ortega cut her wrists and throat after killing the children.
She took care of the children for a year before the incident and the Krim family even went to visit Ortega´s family in Dominican Republic.
Her latest posts:
“Leo speaks in the most adorable way possible.”
“Lulu is in love. His name is Joakim, he’s 1/2 British, 1/2 Swedish. He lives in our apartment building and speaks with a British accent, is a total hipster and we love his parents. She gets totally giddy around him. Not sure Lulu knows this but Joakim has 2 other girlfriends as well…”
