Eric Villency a former model and business man from the fashion industry and ex-husband (separated after a 3 years marriage) of lingerie model Kimberly Guilfoyle. They have a kid together. Look at this sexy daddy below…Damn! He is hot!
It is a pitty the glamorous couple divorced. They looked so good together. They were introduced by Patrick McMullan back in ‘05. She was a newly divorcée and was still mourning her last husband, San Francisco Mayor, Gavin Newsom, and Villency was ending a romance with cosmetics queen Olivia de Chantecaille. It was instant. They got married quickly and she was pregnant from Rowan when they signed the prenup was signed. They currently share joint custody of their son.
His parents are Rowann and Robert Villency from NYC. His mother, a mixed-media artist, has exhibited at the Walter Wickiser Gallery in New York. His father is the chairman of Maurice Villency.
After his divorce, he started a fashion line, Restoration of the Monarchy, which is hip clothing inspired on his own life style. Eric, a former model and socialite, who once dated beauty magnate Olivia Chantecaille. You could find from sexy short jumpers to cute sailor pants, but something went wrong… the line wasn’t a success! It was supposed to retail in places like Scoop and Intermix. It’s weird cuz the cloth was fashionable and vibey with a 70’s retro look. Maybe it was not his best time though he is an ambassador of great style and got good connections in the fashion community. He even had a great promo campaign, featuring Julia Restoin-Roitfeld (daughter of French Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld) in the ads.
Since then, Eric has pioneered the Villency Emerging Fashion Fund. The fund has established partnerships with fashion designers including Proenza Schouler, Derek Lam, Imitation of Christ, Ruffian, and Erin Featherston. In February 2009, Eric designed the Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge at New York’s Fashion Week.
Eric Villency’s Bio
He is an interior designer and businessman. He is the CEO of Villency Design Group, an interior and product design firm.
In 1932, Villency’s grandfather, Maurice Villency, started a furniture company in NYC. Later, this company became the Villency Design Group, and in 1998, Eric took the control of it. In 2001, he was awarded the FIT “All Star Salute” award, recognizing leaders in design and fashion. In 2002, Villency launched the company’s first home accessories collection. In 2006, he launched “Villency Atelier”, a workshop dedicated to custom design and fabrication for design professionals. In 2007, Villency was named the recipient of the IFDA “Design Industry” award. In 2008 he launched Villency Pure Design, an environmentally responsible and domestically produced collection of furniture.
He has promoted since 2008, through Villency Contract, design projects including the Rudy Giuliani Urgent Care Unit at St. Vincent’s Hospital, the Delta Air Lines Miami Crown Lounge, the Club level lounge at Citifield, Starwood brands including W hotels and Sheraton, the Bryant Park Hotel, the Plaza private residences, and office for Kathy Lee Gifford.
Villency has been a star guest on Today Show, Good Morning America, The Tyra Banks show, HGTV, Travel Channel, TBS and was the host of the Fine Living Channel’s iDesign. He also produced and hosted the documentary INSEAM that chronicles emerging fashion designers.
This man does a lot of things and keeps himself busy. He also writes for the Huffington Post and has written for Details, Best Life, Women’s Health and Departures.
He married his ex-wife Kimberly in May 27, 2006, on the island of Barbados. On October 4, 2006, Guilfoyle gave birth to Ronan Anthony.On June 23, 2009, it was announced that Guilfoyle and Villency had separated.
